A violent explosion rocked the port of Hodeidah in western Yemen on Saturday, specifically fuel tank No. 38 in the oil facilities.

This explosion comes a week after the port was subjected to a major Israeli attack, and only two days after the fires caused by the attack were extinguished.

Last Saturday, the Israeli forces bombed the port of Hodeidah, the Ras Katheeb power station, and fuel tanks in the coastal city.

The Israeli bombing resulted in the killing of 9 civilians, the injury of 87, and the loss of 3 others, according to local media, in addition to heavy material losses.

The Israeli attack came after the Houthi group announced targeting Tel Aviv with a drone.

The Houthis are launching attacks on ships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, in a campaign they say is in solidarity with the Gaza Strip, which has been witnessing a war waged by Israel for about 10 months.
